Larry J. Namer is an award-winning entertainment industry veteran with over five decades of professional experience in cable television, live experiences, and new media. Larry J. Namer is an accomplished entrepreneur - notably, Mr. Namer is Founder of E! Entertainment Television, a cable network now valued at over five billion USD. E! is now in over 140 countries. His portfolio of successful media companies extends both domestically and internationally.

 

Namer's legacy is not only defined by his business ventures but also by his talent for discovering and nurturing emerging on-air personalities. His keen eye for talent has played a pivotal role in launching the careers of numerous individuals who have become synonymous with E!, such as Greg Kinnear, Howard Stern, and the Kardashians.

Namer's career began with a groundbreaking achievement: at a young age, he became the youngest general manager of a major cable system at Valley Cable TV (VCTV) in Los Angeles. Under his leadership, VCTV garnered numerous awards, including Emmy and Cable ACE nominations, and was recognized by Forbes magazine as a national model for local cable television programming.

 

His contributions to the industry have been acknowledged with many prestigious honors. Mr. Namer has been a recipient of the President’s Award from the National Cable Television Association, and he was awarded The Tribeca Disruptor Award at the Novus Summit at the United Nations.
